- Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? Ek Baar Phir (transl. What shall I name this love? Once again) is an Indian romantic drama television series that aired from 26 August 2013 to 13 June 2015 on Star Plus. It starred Avinash Sachdev and Shrenu Parikh as Shlok Agnihotri and Aastha Agnihotri, respectively. Aastha is a middle-class, open-minded girl.

Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? 3 (transl. What shall I name this love? 3) is an Indian drama television series that aired on Star Plus from 3 July 2017 to 6 October 2017.[3] The show starred Barun Sobti in lead role and Ritu Shivpuri as the antagonist.[4][5] The story is set in Allahabad and Mumbai. It is the third installment of the Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? franchise made by 4 Lions Films.

Plot[edit]
The show is the story of two childhood friends Dev and Chandni, set in Allahabad. Dev's father is the chief priest of a Temple known for its hidden treasure. Dev's father is arrested for stealing the idol's jewelry and Dev's mother is accused of being an alien. They are killed by a mysterious person after which Chandni's father becomes the Mahant. Dev is forced to run away with his younger brother Meeku. While travelling by train, Dev is forced to throw his brother out to save him from a mob.

Dev has returned to Allahabad disguised as Advay Singh Raizada. Holding Chandni and her family responsible for what his family had to go through and his separation from his brother, he plans to take revenge. He buys the house the Vashishts are living in but lets them continue staying there. Chandni's wedding has been fixed to PP, a sleazy man whose family is going to pay off her stepmother's debt. Advay rescues her from her fiance's behaviour on several occasions but also insults her each time. Chandni is confused about why he hates her so much. He breaks up her wedding and forcibly marries her by blackmailing her that he will reveal the truth of her illegitimate child who currently stays in an orphanage. Chandni agrees to save the respect of her family but doesn't tell Advay that the child is actually her sister's.
Advay exposes this anyway in order to spoil the Vashisht family's reputation. He throws them out of the house but his grandmother shelters Chandni. She believes in Chandni's innocence and asks Chandni never to leave Advay no matter what happens even though Advay has been emotionally abusive and misogynistic. Eventually, the truth finally comes out before Chandni and Advay. Chandni realises Advay is her long lost childhood friend Dev and Advay discovers that Chandni has been innocent all along. Chandni has her stepmother, the real culprit, arrested and seeks out Miku, reuniting him with Advay. Miku falls in love with Chandni's sister Shikha and the family plans to get them married.

Iss Pyar Ko Mein Kya Naam Doon KKG is a simpleLucknowgirl who loses her parents at a youngage, but grows up full of optimism and belief in religion and family values. Onthe occasion of her foster sister PY's wedding, K on hearing of demands fordowry from the groom's family sets out to convince her future brother in law towithdraw these demands. However things go awry and K lands up ruining a fashionshow hosted by business tycoon and owner ofARGroup of Industries, AR Singh Raizada who instantly dislikes her. AR alsoan orphan, grew up in Delhi bitter and unforgiving and valuing only money andsuccess. His only weakness is his crippled sister AN K fails to return on timeand her sister's wedding is broken. A chance meeting with AR at aDargah, leads K to accuse him of ruining hersister's happiness. AR, not used to people standing up to him lashes out byreleasing footage of the fashion show to the media. The video clip of K fallinginto AR's arms hits national television causing humiliation to K's family. Ather family's behest K and PY move to Delhi to live with their aunt MD. At thisjuncture SH Jha a seemingly righteous lawyer helps the family and moves in as apaying guest.In Delhi K searches for a job and destiny causes her to take up ajob in AR's office. AR tries to humiliate K every chance he gets but K rises toevery challenge. After saving K from a speeding car and an building on theverge of collapse AR begins questioning his attitude towards her and even feelsremorse at his actions. At this point K decides that she values her life morethan AR's challenges, quits her job and decides to go home to Lucknow.Meanwhile SH is revealed to be AN's husband and AR's brother in law who iscarrying out this farce as a paying guest because he is in love with K.However Ktakes up an offer from AN to tutor AR's girlfriend Lavanya about Indiantraditions to pay her foster father Shashi Gupta's debts. Forced to meet eachother everyday under the same roof AR and K start seeing each other in adifferent light and they begin to feel an undeniable attraction to each other.When her father is hospitalised K seeks comfort in AR leading to more awarenessfrom both sides. This awareness and attraction leads AR to lose control andalmost kiss K on the night of Diwali Angered at the unwanted emotions K bringsout in him AR announces his engagement to Lavanya. Broken at AR's rejection Ksuccumbs to pressure at home and agrees to marry SH due to her father's ilinghealth and the lack of money. AR is equally angry at the news of K's engagementand tries desperately to taunt her into admitting she has feelings for him.Atthis point AR and K realize that their siblings Akash and PY are in love witheach other. Unwillingly they are forced to join hands to bring them togetherand convince their families of their alliance. Lavanya who by now has developeda close friendship with K realises that AR actually loves K causing her toleave. K then learns that SH is AN's husband and breaks off all relations withhim. During Akash and PY's wedding celebrations AR and K find themselvesbecoming closer by the day. Finally admitting that he loves her AR decides toconfess his feelings. However he walks in on SH hugging K and misunderstandsthat she is having an affair with his sister's husband.Failing to see that SHwas actually forcing himself on K he walks away from the scene. Unable to tellhis sister due to her pregnancy, AR blackmails K into marrying him temporarilyfor 6 months, by threatening to break her sister's marriage to Akash if shedoesn't comply. The hatred is renewed on both sides with K believing AR ruinedher life and AR believing K to be ruining his sister's.
Despite this hatred, they continue to feel instances of love foreach other. Eventually, after K's repeated questioning, AR blurts out the truthbehind him wanting to marry her. K, unable to bear the fact that AR holds sucha poor opinion of her, tries her best to convince him that she had not been atfault. AR however does not listen to her and leaves for London on business. K,meanwhile is heartbroken and misses AR constantly. At this point she receives acall from AR stating that he loves her. Keeping in mind the circumstances underwhich he left to London and knowing he would never confess so easily, Kinvestigates the situation further and figures out that AR has been kidnapped.While following a lead she is briefly reunited with him during which both ofthem express only relief and happiness on seeing each other. Unable to outrunthe kidnappers AR surrenders himself back in order to save K. K now desperateand fully aware that AR's life is in danger figures out that SH is behind thekidnapping. Now K with no other option, takes help from Nand Kishor toinvestigate further to know about AR's whereabouts. K plans to win over SH'strust that she hates AR, in which she succeeds. K tricks SH into signing thedivorce paper which are actually property papers. K finally locates AR andsaves him from being burnt alive. However before they are reunited, SH finds K.SH then forces K to get in the car with him and ties her hands and legs andleaves her in the middle of the road. AR rescues K and they go home only toreveal the intentions of SH. SH acts innocent and tries to blame K wrong, butNK saves K. NK stands on K's side and supports by revealing SH as themastermind behind AR's kidnapping. However, SH asks for proof that he is thekidnapper which NK and K don't have.But K asks AR to look in her eyes and knowwhether she's lying or not. The innocence in K's eyes was enough for AR tobelieve her so he slaps SH twice, One for hurting his sister and the other forhurting K. He also stated that these two (AN and K) are the 2 most importantpeople in his life. He kicks SH out and SH revolts this and says How dare ARtouch him. AR in reply tells that If he would come on how much he can do, SHwill have to spend the rest of his sorry life in Jail. SH is thrown out of thehouse.
